Scott Pilgrim Vs The World: The Game – Complete Edition has been officially announced during today’s Ubisoft Forward event.
Scott Pilgrim’s return has been a long time coming. Six years in fact. Originally released in 2010 alongside the movie of the same name, we see Scott fighting for the affection of the new girl in town. Ramona Flowers.
Unfortunately for fans, Scott Pilgrim was unceremoniously delisted in 2014. This meant that gamers who hadn’t previously purchased the title had lost the opportunity to do so.
With the game’s 10th anniversary quickly approaching, many fans were hoping for a re-release on newer consoles. A glimmer of hope came when last month series creator, Bryan O’Malley confirmed Ubisoft had been in touch.
Then at today’s Ubisoft Forward event Scott Pilgrim Vs The World: The Game – Complete Edition was officially announced. As the name suggests, you will get not only the base game but also both DLC packs.
It’s currently unknown as whether the game will get a physical release, but it’s likely that fans will demand it given the game’s history with being removed from digital storefronts.
Due for release “Holiday 2020” for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC and Stadia.
